Rest In Peace

When i was in Primary 3, i was afraid of the dark. like really afraid to the extent that i'd rather piss in my skirt than to go in a dark toilet. That was when Boon Jiin offered me company. To walk together to class. And I was eternally grateful. We were close back then. He was a great friend, i cannot describe it in words, but i rememeber all the little things he had done for me as a friend. After awhile we just drifted apart, and now i regret that. I could have at least took more initiative to keep in touch.

I didn't bawl my eyes out but i was very shocked, emotionally disturbed since the day I found out.

I found pictures of us at parties and prom nights. I found his name tag. I'm still finding it hard to believe he had passed away. I have this believe that, when someone passes away, we shouldn't express too much sadness and anger. (I'm not a sicko okay?) Put yourself in his/her shoes. Would you leave the world in peace knowing your loved ones cannot let you go? Would you stay or leave?

I will be going to his wake today. It has been on since saturday and tmr will be the funeral.

My uncles death has barely passed me over, now a dear friend?

Rest In Peace. You will always be remembered, Boon Jiin.
